The City of Ankeny’s Otter Creek Golf Course is currently in the second phase of a complete renovation. PMDI provided golf course design services that led to the expansion of the original 18-hole golf course footprint from 160 acres to a new golf and housing community that occupies 357 acres.

The renovated golf course will feature 18 all new golf holes and practice range that are sculpted out of the existing landscape to provide the golfers at Otter Creek with challenging golf holes that have strong character provided by earth mounds, low maintenance fescue areas, water features and sand bunkers that are positioned strategically throughout the golf course.

The golf course construction will be completed in the 2008 with the grand opening of the golf course and new clubhouse set to take place in the summer of 2009.
